I'm not too tech-savvy when it comes to shrinking games. All I can find online is a DVD5 that has the english audio track. I played a little of the game but the english audio puts me off. Can someone here help me out and convert Forbidden siren for the PS2 to DVD5 while: Keeping the Japanese audio track (and english subs) Delete the english audio track Nothing else changed aside from shrinking videos or whatever to make it fit a standard dvd-r, keep the game completely in its original PAL format (I can play PAL but please no region selector menu at the start or anything like that, this messes up the colors for me for some reason in the other copy I have. And no NTSC format because it will crash on cutscenes). Please help, I know there has to be others wanting this as well Thanks in advance! Lol the English is rather bad, well not just bad it's awful I have never played a game before this with such bad English dialog, this is one game that I will agree with has very very bad English.
360 Forbidden Siren 361 Forbidden Siren 2 362 Ford Racing 3 363 Free Running 364 Freedom Fighters 365 Freekstyle. 633 Midnight Club 3 DUB Remix DVD5 634 Midnight Club 3 DUB Remix DVD9 635 Midnight Club II. 653 Monster Hunter 2 English Patched 654 Monster Hunter 2 Japan 655 Monster Rancher 3. Jul 08, 2006 The PAL version has an option for both English and Japanese voice overs (Woot!) plus subtitles, so you could rip the crappy english voices out (their not as bad as the last game but still bad) and leave the Japanese ones in. This aint gonna be normal dvd-9 to dvd-5 rip so dont hold your breathe just yet. PS2_Forbidden_Siren 2_SPK_ROM_V1.
If it's not uploaded by the time I get to creating a rip kit for this one I will upload it pre made then Though the kit I will make will mostly be automated so any noob could use it and to include all the needed tools aswell. Bad news for time is I am starting backwards I already done 2 kits one is for Yakuza 2 NTSC and another for Xenosaga I NTSC All you do in my kits so far anyway is extract the kit, the read.txt file tells you to extract the DVD9 to a folder that is already in the kit, with Apache 3 then run the kit.bat file, the bat will prompt you at a certain point to open a file with a prog that is auto run (you are told exactly what to do), then the bat will do the rest. You might want to just get the full DVD9 image and use the kit when I make it EDIT: I will jump to this one for you guys I will make a kit to do this both ways 1 for english audio and 1 for japanese audio, it's going to be a day or two just to download this for me but as soon as I get the DVD9 version I will get to work on the kits and upload them, as I stated before these will be user friendly so you will not need to do much in them as they will be semi automated. I can't see me rushing to upload a pre make DVD5 with jap audio though, well not to a server that is easy to download from and would just end up getting removed before anyone has a chance to get it, so just use the kit when I make it available EDIT: I made a simplified kit for this, otherwise yes the process for this game is very hard if you don't know what you are doing. All you do is extract both layers to a folder that is already in the kit with Apache3 that is included. Run the kit.bat file wait for it to do it's thing, at the end a prog will auto start, the bat file give instructions on how to use that let that complete and it's done.
If you need instructions on how to use Apache3 I can provide those as well. Let me know if you would want this.
I will do a burn test soon with it anyway, still play testing another game at the moment.
